Green Oak summer dance out at The Blacksmiths Everton and The Bluebell at Gringley on the Hill. It was warm, the sun shone, and the audience were most appreciative! The swifts were screeching around in the clear blue skies.
We had a successful and enjoyable summer dance out evening at the Angel at Misson and The Loco at Haxey. Some willing children joined us to learn an audience participation dance and can be seen in the photo. Future recruits, perhaps!
What a great evening at the King Billy, with a super sword dance, some jigs and heys, and a music session afterwards, which included 3, yes, 3 melodeons plus singing afterwards. Lovely beer. The pub at Scaftworth was packed. People even came out in their vintage cars to see us.

We had a good audience at the Bluebell Inn at Lound. JC & Judith had worked hard in putting up posters around the village and as a consequence, the pub was full and most people came out to watch, and it must be said, take pictures and shoot some video of us. It was a good dance out, and Danny and Martin performed their wonderful jigs. Thanks to Mike for playing melodeon. We had a music session in the pub before and after. 'We've got a band!' said Pete. Hoorah. Oh, and the Kelham Brewery beer was delicious.
